UAS4EUROPE Statement on the next multiannual financial framework

UAS4EUROPE has published its statement on the next Multiannual Financial Framework addressed to the European Parliament.
Our statement underlines four key priorities:
- Collaborative Research and the European Competitiveness Fund,
- Simplification,
- Association,
- and Budget.
The network specifically calls for further clarification on the distinction between FP10 and ECF, Representation of UAS in the ECF Stakeholder Board and to reverse SSH flagging in the ECF work programmes. The statement further proposes a “Proof of concept by default” approach at the project level. We need open topics by default, concise Work programmes and short time-to-grant periods. Lump sum and actual cost elements could be used in hybrid arrangements for larger project consortia.
Lastly, the network calls for the ECF and FP10 to be open to our closest and most trusted partners, specifically focusing on Switzerland and the UK.
The complete statement can be read in its entirety on this website.
