UAS4EUROPE is a joint initiative of eight organisations:
- ARENE, representing 24 UAS in Finnland
- Danske Professionshøjskoler, representing all 6 UAS in Denmark
- Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften Baden-Württemberg e.V. (HAW BW), representing 24 UAS in Baden-Württemberg
- Hochschulallianz für den Mittelstand, representing 16 German UAS
- Hochschule Bayern e.V. (supported by the Bavarian Research Alliance), representing the 19 UAS in Bavaria
- swissuniversities, representing the Swiss Chamber of the 9 UAS of Switzerland
- Österreichische Fachhochschulkonferenz (FHK), representing all 21 UAS of Austria
- Vereniging Hogescholen, representing all 36 publicy-funded UAS of the Netherlands
Through its member associations, UAS4EUROPE represents over 150 Universities of Applied Sciences in the European Research Area.
