UAS4EUROPE and ERRIN are co-organising a “Horizon Europe Capacity-Building Workshop” on 6-7 November 2024 in Brussels.
The workshop is specifically designed to support newcomers to the Horizon Europe Programme coming from regional ecosystems, including universities of applied sciences, policymakers, and public administrations. The lunch-to-lunch event will provide participants with hands-on information on how to approach the Horizon Europe programme, identifying relevant topics, building successful consortia and preparing competitive applications for the upcoming Horizon Europe calls for proposals.
Programme
- Day 1: Experts and facilitators will provide an overview of Horizon Europe and the Brussels-based Research and Innovation landscape. We will zoom into Pillar II with a specific focus on how to build consortia building and relevant tools for this purpose. The sessions will include workshops in smaller groups allowing for networking opportunities.
- Day 2: A deep dive into proposal preparation, with a dedicated session on deconstructing and analysing Call topics, and insights into award criteria and evaluation processes.

The event is open to funding advisors, research managers, policymakers and public administrators from within the UAS4EUROPE and ERRIN networks.
This is an in-person workshop taking place in Brussels. The event is free of charge. However, all travel-related expenses must be covered by the sending institution.
To register, fill in the form below by 11 October 2024. To accomodate as many participants as possible, participation may be limited to a certain number of attendees per organisation. A confirmation email will be sent once your registration is processed. We strongly advise against booking travel arrangements prior to the recpetion of the confirmation email.
