REGISTRATIONS OPEN: Croissant Event 2024
We are delighted to invite you to our Croissant Event “Rebuild, Reshape, Revitalise: Accelerating the Research Assessment Reform” on 12 June 2024 in the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in Brussels (Av. de Cortenbergh 30)!
As a development that bears the prospect to mobilise the full potential of all types of higher education institutions, the ongoing research assessment reform implemented through the Coalition on Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) is a development worth highlighting. With the intention of using a healthy balance of quantitative and qualitiative excellence criteria, CoARA comes with the vision of a science system that adequately reflects the diversity of the research sector – from basic research to applied sciences, from young talents to experiences researchers, considering all types of research outputs.
After the successful constiution of CoARA, it is now time to ensure the reform’s implementation!
Against this background, we want to invite you for coffee and croissants at our UAS4EUROPE Croissant Event 2024 to discuss how to seize the momentum to rebuild, reshape and revitalise our science system.
